The furniture in the room was old and carpet and walls were stained, it didn’t seem clean although the toilet was fine.
The service in the reception was very different depending on the staff. We got really good and friendly service from 1 person, and really bad service from 2 others, as they seemed annoyed and bothered. We asked for a band-aid one night as my mom cut her finger and were told they didn’t have, without looking. We then asked again the next morning and the girl was so friendly and got us one. In the evening we had some questions about the check-out and ordered a taxi for the airport early next morning. The guy seemed annoyed and bothered by the questions ( simple ones : how much is the tourist tax, and payment methods) he ordered a hotel taxi and reassured us we could pay by card. The next morning the taxi takes us to the airport and at the end of the trip he asked for cash payment. As I didn’t have cash I told him that would not be possible. Then he just asked me to go to the atm. I refused as I was promised card payment and wasn’t about to withdraw more cash in a foreign currency when leaving the country. Then he asked me to sort it out with the hotel. As I was told he was a hotel taxi I asked him to call them and sort it out him self. At the end we found a solution. But the whole experience with bad service and misinformation just created a very stressful situation.
