Amazing City and Views
Dreaming of visiting Cinque Terre for years, we finally made it. I booked our room in advance, and got a great room at Scorci did Mare on the top with the balcony. It was everything I hoped for (plus lots of steps). We went out and walked around, brought a fresh Italian snack back and sat on the patio overlooking this beautiful city. I will be back. There a lots of hills and stairs here, be aware. The bed was hard compared to USA standard but it's normal for Italy in my previous travels.

We loved the place despite the difficulty of getting there. Very rustic and authentic. The antique wood ceiling beams were special. No view and cold at night. Riomaggiere is worth the visit but be prepared to climb. Trattoria La Grotta nearby was excellent ambience and food. Alessandro was terrific! Very attentive proprietor...

Beautiful town and great room
The room was large and with snacks, coffee, and tea. The complimentary wine was amazing, and the host kindly explained about the mountain region and the origin of cinque terre. The hotel is difficult to get to with a big suitcase, but that is typical in cinque terre. It was really helpful for the hotel to be so close to the train station and the marina.

Hidden Gem in Italy
Most incredible Gem of a spot to stay! The stairs to climb to the tippy top were well worth it once we were in our room. I highly recommend staying in Riomaggiore when visiting Cinque Terre. The guest room has a very seashore, beachy vibe which we loved. The balcony was huge with the most breathtaking views. I feel like we stayed in the postcard.

We had an excellent stay here! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Michele who helped carry our suitcases up the very steep stairs. Excellent communication and responsiveness. Also, very helpful in walking us to the property once we arrived there and even showing us a map of the villages and recommending where to go and what to do. The room itself was also nice for what it was, very clean which we appreciated. There was an AC unit in the room but unfortunately it turned off in the middle of the night and we couldn’t figure out how to turn it on. Other than that, great experience. Cute terrace with a nice view as well. Extremely positive experience, would definitely recommend!

The manager gave us a great orientation of Cinque Terre and helped us get dinner reservations after a storm when all but one of the restaurants were closed. The view from our window was a great view of the bay.

This is a perfect property for an intimate is it to Riomaggiore. Paulo was absolutely fantastic, providing great information, helpful tips and we even had a private wine tasting with his colleague. This is value for moneys, and the town is very romantic. We will definitely be recommending Scorce di Mare to our friends

We loved our stay here and had an amazing view ! We were greeted at the train station by Paolo who showed us around Riomaggiore on our way to our room. He gave us recommendations and even helped with our luggage ! You can’t beat this location, right on the picturesque marina! Will definitely be coming back here.

Location is everything here. Right on the marina with a sea view and a short walk to the train station and the main street in the town center. There are a lot of stairs depending on where you are coming from but that is almost anywhere in Cinque Terre. Staff was friendly and gave an overview about the history of the area. We had an issue with the air conditioner in the room one night, but I believe it was because the window was not fully closed, and the staff addressed it quickly after we brought it to their attention. Overall, a great place to stay if you want to explore Cinque Terre.
