Great location for our trip. We saw a show, went to the MOMA, had a great dinner nearby. Close to the Port Authority, important for us as we took the bus from Boston. Beds were comfortable and room good sized for NY.

The Row NYC is in a great location for Broadway shows & Times Square. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help.
My room was clean & tidy. The room did not have a hairdryer & a personal safe (which surprised me but I should check the list of amenities).
The bathtub/shower while clean enough could use a good bleach/scrubbing. The shower head could be replaced as it sprayed in all sorts of directions.
I would stay here again.

If your purpose for traveling to New York is to see a Broadway show, you can’t beat this location. Just a warning that the bathroom in our room was tiny, and the elevators were very slow. We were there the weekend the hotel reopened after a few years, so there were a few hiccups since it was the first day back. That being said, all the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful and kind, and made a tremendous effort to resolve any issues.

As of this date, the hotel hasn't fully opened. Amenities, such as ice/water dispensers on the floors are not functional.
The location of the hotel is ideal if you are planning to see Broadway shows. The noise from 8th Avenue can be clearly heard in the room I stayed in. I recommend bringing earphones or a white-noise app.
The bedding and towels were new and comfortable.

Opening night was on a FRIDAY! Bad planning. Only 1 elevator working, no hair dryer in the room, no water glasses, AC control was broken. Room was smaller than portrayed.

It’s opening weekend so likely not a fair judge. I just would expect more for the price. Piles of boxes in the hallway, cleaning cart outside our door for three days. Disorganized. But nice folks and surely the kinks will get worked out.

The room was very small and very very basic. It was not worth what you paid for. The amenities were good and the lobby very clean and nice but the room not so much. You get more room if you stayed at a Holiday Inn than you would here. The room felt like a closet with a bed and bath. No microwave and not small fridge. If you are looking for just the bare basic in a room then yes it is for you.

As soon as we arrived only one elevator was functional for the whole building. As we walked in the TV did not work for the whole stay and random painters tape on the wall, I notified staff and said they would send someone to fix but never did. There was no hot water and the bathroom tub would not drain. I notified the hotel staff the first night and needed to go back to complain a couple additional times. The only thing they would offer was a returned resort fee but no other compensation for all of the issues

We booked 4 rooms for 8 people in February for a May 2nd one night stay. Nowhere did it say that the hotel was closed for a long time and reopening the day before our stay. They were disorganized, not prepared for guests. Many rooms weren’t even being used yet. They first told us this reservation had been cancelled when they couldn’t find it. It took a very long time for us to check in the 4 rooms. All night the heat ran in the rooms and we couldn’t turn it down. It was very hot! The rooms didn’t even have plastic cups to be used in the bathroom. On our floor outside the elevators there were a lot of boxes with supplies and it was quite messy. Despite the challenges we experienced, the bar area was nice and modern. And the hotel is in a very good location.

When we got to the room the TV had no visuals only audio. After complaining multiple times with them telling us they would send someone to fix it it took over a day for a fix at an inconvenient time. Our bathroom was setup soo poorly we had to use the lobby bathrooms to sit on a toilet. The shower had no hot water and took a very long time to drain. Of the several elevators only 1 ever worked at a time with everyone trying to fit in the same one. After everything we only got the destination "hidden" fees back for compensation. Would not recommend

When I got to the hotel I didn't know I had to pay for resort fees that was never on Hotels.com when booking the room. Plus a $100 hold for the room which is typical. Get checked in go to my room wasn't thinking nothing of it my tv did work and it was cold in the room they kept saying they were going to send maintenance up nobody showed up I want to get out in the city to explore wasn't about to wait around. Get back nothing still working even the electric shades ppl can see in my 1st room so they ended up moving me to another room I get back out to enjoy the city come back to my room its still cold. Everyone body temperature is different my room was at 64 degrees all night I literally slept in my hoodie and leggings woke up sneezing not cool especially when the room was $200 a night. Some staff was amazing. Overall experience 2.5 out of 5.

Perfect location for proximity to Broadway theatres! Went on re-opening day and there was a back-up during check-in (staff was new to the system). I am the type of person to notice details and the remodel seems surface level, I obviously didn't see the building when they began so I can't say how much has been done. In the, quite small, bathroom, there was no fan, the tub shower had an un-even floor surface, the drain didn't really work all that well and the water pressure, while adjustable, went from a heavy trickle to a mid-pressure spray. Sink was nice with some room to put your things around it and there was a shelf. Lighting in the bathroom was mid - only light was from the mirror. The green paint throughout the room wasn't perfect (looked like a lot of layers). The room was sparkling clean, the new bed was comfortable, night stands had good plug options, carpet was nice, and towels were fluffy. We were on the 25th floor and the noise from the area was still noticeable. For NYC, I guess the room size was ok, it did feel small, and if you had multiple large luggages it will be tight - there is storage space under the bed for a suitcase on either side. The TV is on an awkward wall next to the bed vs at the foot of the bed - but we didn't watch TV. The two elevators were slow to get to you either in the lobby or at your floor. It seemed like there were more elevators available but they weren't working at the time. The cafe was nice. After all that, I would stay here again.

Joe the manager was a delight, as was every other staff member we encountered!
My bf and I stayed 5 days/4 nights for his birthday in a room with a city view and got coffee and pastries at the hotel cafe every morning before heading out to explore.
The location was perfect and about a 5-10 min walk to multiple train stations which made getting around a breeze.
We loved The Row and would definitely stay there again!
