The rooms has juts been renovated and are good to be your rest place after a day out in the city. They are not a space to spend time on, which is fine. Who wants to stay in the hotel once you are in New York!!! Beds are comfortable, and the staff is super kind.

Stayed for 2 nights shortly after the hotel's post-renovation reopening in May. Visually appealing hotel with beautifully updated lobby and cosmetic refresh of guest rooms. Staff was uniformly polite and helpful. Our room was rather small but adequate for our purposes, as we didn't spend much time in it; we did appreciate the very comfortable bed and blackout shades, and it was great to have access to a well-appointed fitness facility on site. Very conveniently located for walking to Penn Station and Theatre District; loads of restaurant/bar options nearby.

The hotel is newly renovated and opened a month ahead of time. Except for two nights without TV (because the carpet installers cut the cable lines) our stay turned out great. The staff were courteous and efficient—and seemed genuinely pleased to see you (Al of to customer training). The hotel is across the street from the subway and a block from crosstown buses. And of course around the block from the theater district. I used to stay at the Penn across the street from The Garden whenever I came to NYC. Now it will be The Row

Great location for our trip. We saw a show, went to the MOMA, had a great dinner nearby. Close to the Port Authority, important for us as we took the bus from Boston. Beds were comfortable and room good sized for NY.

We did not know what to expect when we booked this hotel a few months ago and we were very pleasantly surprised. It’s newly renovated, has a hip modern look within an old building and is very clean. The staff is super friendly, especially Joe. The room was comfortable and quiet. We also liked the location. Overall, we had a great experience in New York at this hotel.

Joe the manager was a delight, as was every other staff member we encountered! My bf and I stayed 5 days/4 nights for his birthday in a room with a city view and got coffee and pastries at the hotel cafe every morning before heading out to explore. The location was perfect and about a 5-10 min walk to multiple train stations which made getting around a breeze. We loved The Row and would definitely stay there again!

My daughter and I had a great time in New York. I understand this is a remodeled hotel that was recently reopened on May 1. I believe we were the first guinea pigs when we checked in the first room was not up to cleanliness standard. But the hotel was very accommodating and moved our room, which was great! The breakfast options were quite delicious and we are missing the yogurt parfait. Staff were friendly.

The Row NYC is in a great location for Broadway shows & Times Square. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. My room was clean & tidy. The room did not have a hairdryer & a personal safe (which surprised me but I should check the list of amenities). The bathtub/shower while clean enough could use a good bleach/scrubbing. The shower head could be replaced as it sprayed in all sorts of directions. I would stay here again.

As of this date, the hotel hasn't fully opened. Amenities, such as ice/water dispensers on the floors are not functional. The location of the hotel is ideal if you are planning to see Broadway shows. The noise from 8th Avenue can be clearly heard in the room I stayed in. I recommend bringing earphones or a white-noise app. The bedding and towels were new and comfortable.

If your purpose for traveling to New York is to see a Broadway show, you can’t beat this location. Just a warning that the bathroom in our room was tiny, and the elevators were very slow. We were there the weekend the hotel reopened after a few years, so there were a few hiccups since it was the first day back. That being said, all the staff we interacted with were extremely helpful and kind, and made a tremendous effort to resolve any issues.

The room was very small and very very basic. It was not worth what you paid for. The amenities were good and the lobby very clean and nice but the room not so much. You get more room if you stayed at a Holiday Inn than you would here. The room felt like a closet with a bed and bath. No microwave and not small fridge. If you are looking for just the bare basic in a room then yes it is for you.

It’s opening weekend so likely not a fair judge. I just would expect more for the price. Piles of boxes in the hallway, cleaning cart outside our door for three days. Disorganized. But nice folks and surely the kinks will get worked out.

Three nights and this wasn’t cleared until we were checking out.

As soon as we arrived only one elevator was functional for the whole building. As we walked in the TV did not work for the whole stay and random painters tape on the wall, I notified staff and said they would send someone to fix but never did. There was no hot water and the bathroom tub would not drain. I notified the hotel staff the first night and needed to go back to complain a couple additional times. The only thing they would offer was a returned resort fee but no other compensation for all of the issues
